e84 Yoga 10-year Anniversary Training ~ Bali ~ Mar 15 – April 10, 2027
10 years ago e84 yoga initiated the first ever higher-level hot yoga training system in the world. We approach hot yoga in three levels:
- Level one: the world famous 26&2 sequence
- Level two: the e84 intermediate class
- Level three: the traditional 84 asanas sequence from Ghosh’s Yoga College in Calcutta, India.
The 84 Asanas class, like the 26&2 sequence, has been practiced in America since the 1970s. But, unlike the 26&2 sequence, it never had a formal training system designed to teach people how to teach it…that is, not until 2017 when e84 yoga began training passionate yogis to be stewards of this yoga system.
Description
Our month in Bali starts with the e84 intermediate training. We will practice the e84 intermediate class two times per day, as we learn sequencing and leadership skills. We use the e84 intermediate class to prepare the body and learn the different skills and postures found in the 84 Asana sequence. The e84 intermediate class is not a fixed sequence. During any given class we practice different parts of the 84 asanas class. We take our time to learn steps and modifications.
The second two weeks are dedicated to the traditional 84 asana sequence, know by many as the “advanced” class. We prefer not to use the label “advanceed” because we believe this sequence is safe, and more accessible than the label suggests. This is a higher level hot yoga practice - we build on the foundation of 26&2 and our approach is focused on technique, self-awareness, and self-control. We will practice a 2-3 hour hot class daily. Our asana practice will be accompanied by a 10-hour anatomy course, and an inquiry into non-physical yoga. We will explore Jnana yoga, Kriya yoga, meditation, mantra, and a survey of yoga history and influential yoga texts.
Each two week segment is a stand-alone course. The full month comprises a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification. It is also the first step towards earning a 500-hour e84 Teacher Diploma which requires two additional courses and takes a minimum of two years to complete.
If you are interested in becoming an expert in traditional hot yoga, this course is a must. If you are interested in deepening your practice, you should learn the e84 intermediate practice and the segway into 84 asanas. We will stay at the beautiful Bali Spirit Hotel and Spa, a short walk away from the Ubud Yoga center. Our accommodation is set in the jungle near a rushing river, complete with two swimming pools, a restaurant, ornate flower gardens, fruit trees, and traditional Balinese decor.

Requirements
- Students must be interested and willing to expand upon the foundation of 26&2 hot yoga.
- No advanced physical skills are required.
- Applicants should have a sincere interest in applying yoga philosophy and yogic spiritual teachings into their own life path.
- Students must complete a 30-day practice challenge prior to attending. If your practice challenge is incomplete upon arrival in Ubud, your certificate will be withheld until it is complete.
- All classes, lectures and activities are required to earn a certificate. If classes are missed for ANY reason (including illness and circumstances that are seemingly out of your control) you will have to make up classes at a future training according to our make up policy.
Travel information
- The e84 Intermediate training begins early in the morning on March 15. Please arrange to arrive on March 14 or earlier with plenty of time to rest and acclimate before our training begins.
- The e84 Intermediate training ends late in the evening on March 27. Please depart March 28 or later.
- The 84 Asanas training begins early in the morning on March 29. Please arrange to arrive on March 28 or earlier with plenty of time to rest and acclimate before our training begins.
- The 84 Asanas training ends late in the evening on April 10. Please depart April 11 or later.

To complete your registration please submit a deposit of $500 USD now. You cannot register without making a deposit. Deposits are refundable for 14 days only (minus fees). All payments, regardless of the date you registered, become non-refundable and non-transferable on Jan 15, 2027. After you submit this form with your deposit, you’ll receive a registration confirmation email with additional information.
